If nurses taught us anything during the pandemic, it’s that superheroes do exist. So we partnered with Marvel to tell the true heroic stories of Allegheny Health Network nurses in the form of a comic book.

We created content to play throughout Marvel’s various social channels.
To fully understand the heroism behind nurses, we spoke to those closest to them — their kids. And then captured their reactions to seeing themselves portrayed as Marvel superheroes.

Within a week of its release, “The Vitals” was featured on every major news outlet.
And we didn’t stop there…
Shortly after, we created a second edition dedicated to the courage and sacrifice of EMS workers.
